A local landscaping company helped to create the raised beds suitable for wheelchair and bad-back users, as well as the regular raised beds. They also put the paths in, made out of recycled crushed house bricks. It's a little lumpy in places which is of concern, and I'm not convinced the rain will indeed 'compact it down' any further as promised, but we'll have to wait and see...
Of course, by simply digging the soil over the weeds are still there and multiplying by the minute, so that's the next task.
